February

What do you have if you have not all?
What do you see if not the whole?

It sounds like the first half of the time of the year,
when the days are hottest and the sun is clear.

If a one comes after, or it comes before a body,
it’s clear both are the same, it requires no study.

You hear it when you do arithmetic, with care and diligence.
But only if you do it by taking no difference.

Those lines are ones that must be read with care.
And check quite often if they’re needed elsewhere.

A wise reader should think, and trust the design.
The wise reader, I welcome, to the month of twenty-nine.
